Who I am as a designer
Creativity through novel utility
My preference goes out to the technical realization side of design, where creativity through novel utility is the core of my design philosophy. In this, aesthetics serve to enable the implementation of the value in functionality.
Insights through user interaction
My focus on technological integration stems from my emphasis on learning through doing. I prioritize putting prototypes into stakeholders’ hands and learning from the insights generated by this hands-on interaction. This learning through creating has translated seamlessly to design-research projects, making this a strong asset of mine.
Proactivity and leadership
I am outgoing and I am comfortable taking the lead in projects. This stems from my role in the student team VIRTU/e, where I was part of the external relations team, and my background in athletics. Both instilled a proactive attitude, autonomy, and leadership skills.

Innovation through aesthetics is not my strongest point, but I have worked hard to improve my skills such as sketching, making renders, and animations. I am however, still working to achieve a higher proficiency in design softwares.
